Story/Situation - What happened? :
I planted C4 in tester to then heard another player announce there was C4 on mic. I went up the ladder which was blocked by another player (☞ KT Kunteen ☜; My T-buddy, which at the time of the incident I was unaware of) and on reflex shot at him as I too quickly assumed he was the innocent who announced my C4. However, I stopped just in time to see the T marker come up and proceeded to run outside as the C4 was almost finish but not before indicating it wasn't on purpose (through head shake). My T-buddy ended up being killed by the C4 as I was too late to give warning. I apologise to him/her after the match had concluded.
A moderator (RockGear) then showed up the next round and ☞ KT Kunteen ☜ submitted a report which was the right thing to do. RockGear later opened a PM and asked if I was aware he was my t-buddy but before I could actually type anything to explain myself, he closed the pm. I wrote in chat that I was typing but he didn't reply. I reported him saying I was typing but he simply reply "eh i didn't kill him" or something similar.
I know I was wrong for shooting my t-buddy even if by accident but he was killed by the C4 which I am not sure if I should be punished for. I also believe the mod was at fault, though no disrespect to him/her, if he would have let me explain what happened.

You seem like a nice guy and you have written it pretty detailed

If a t buddy dies to your c4 its not your fault as they can see c4 thingy and should be aware of c4's at all times. As for the part where u shot them, it could have been a verbal as accidents like this do happen and u didnt kill them with a gun.

After reading what was stated, I thought you had killed another T buddy on reflex, even then that would of been in my eyes an accident as it does happen, nobody can say it doesn't.

In any case, other Traitor's can see the C4 indicated from anywhere on the map with the timer shown, therefore you shouldn't of received a warning for this. Even if you hadn't stated that you planned one, you don't even need to state that you've activated traps, and those don't even appear on screen for them.

Regardless, this should be accepted and I would suggest a lead team member or even Kyber since he's handling this speak to Rock as I would think he would know this by now, but it's entirely possible he's unfamiliar with it.
