TOPIC: Need help with plays.tv

Everything was working just fine but I woke up today and every time I launched gmod it instantly crashed but when I turn plays.tv off it works just fine, which one should I re-install gmod or plays.tv?

You can just change the settings so its manual recording so you press a key whilst gmod isn't loading so it is a lot less stress on the app. Manual recording also lets you upload vids while you're in game so its a lot better

Uninstall both then reinstall gmod first and afterwards plays.tv.

Another problem I noticed was the Xbox game bar and game DVR, the game recording service that comes as default with windows, it sometimes clashes with plays and causes issues. Go to settings on windows, gaming, then in the Game bar and Game DVR tabs turn off the switches for recording

I re-installed plays.tv and did what Eddie said with the windows thing and now it works, thanks all!

Get shadowplay or OBS, I hope this has fixed all your issues
