First step: Unplug the hdmi from the back of your monitor and plug it back in,
if that doesnt work;
Second Step: Unplug the hdmi form the back of your PC and plug it back in
if that doesnt work;
Third Step: Try a different hdmi cable
if that doesnt work;
Fourth Step: Replace whatever part of your computer connects to your monitor to give you the display(GPU I'm assuming in your case). If you had a problem with the CPU or motherboard your PC wouldn't even start up.

It's most likely your graphics card, because if it was a problem with your motherboard or processor your computer wouldnt even turn on.
