TOPIC: WTF my gmod

So i bought 5 boosters and i was gonna come on when i launched gmod but then it said i was running gmod but it would not let me play it, it did not appear at the bottom of my screen it was just a background process that was using like 1 mb/s and now it jsut won't let me load when i tried to load it again it says "failed to update"(game already running) or something like that but i tried to restart my pc,gmod i closed all steam related thing but it won't let me on... anyone know how to fix?

Try going into task manager and closing all hl2.exe processes.

Try right clicking on Gmod in your library, go to properties, then local files, then click "Verify Integrity of Game FIles".

Alrighty, try going to properties, local files, browse local files and then launch hl2.exe manually. That way we can find out if it's a Steam issue or game issue.

still now working does that mean its a game issue?

i tried to uninstlal it ive done it about 4 tiems now not working
