Not really the interviews have always served a great purpose to give those who would not normally have the chance to make themselves known. Even if they don’t get accepted the act of doing an interview shows great promise and an interest in stepping up to a higher role within the server. Its a great opportunity for individuals to highlight to the higher ups stuff that might have been overlooked and give suggestions for things they would want to change as an owner. Thats why even durning the community vote for community manager we still hold interviews as it is an excellent opportunity for people to show themselves off to the Community Team in a way they might not normally be able to. There have been plenty of people in the past who I've initially discounted, but then had that completely changed once they went through an interview. Like I said even if they don’t get what they were applying for, the next time a similar opportunity comes up the first people who come to mind are normally those who have shown the interest in the past. Interviews are always a good thing and can be one of the best ways to showcase all your hard work for the servers.
