Ill admit here, I was mistaking. I had no idea that points were being used as a form of currency, Or if it had its own economy. However in your last point you stated that rare items that werent on available from the wheel will likely sell for millions of points instead of 30k points previously. I might be wrong here but isnt that due to the rarity of the item? Warning: Spoiler! [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] sorle wrote:

You could easily make 5bil+, if not 10bil, just from spamming this for the entire week. When we thought AFK mining was fucked, this came along to put it fucking down lmaoThe economy is, by defintion, broken. You essentially have a way of getting infinite amounts of money VERY quickly, causing a massive inflation. For perspective: Before this, the richest person was Simon with about 1.4 mil points. A day after the release of 2x tokens, the richest was now Jenga with 15mil. 15mil in one day. JUST from this. This has the rest of the week left, I wouldn't be surprised if someone hit 100mil. Oh my god Jenga you fucking big nosed freak. If we were to go by the old points to cash exchange rate(1k points = 1mil cash) Then in that case, 100mil points = 100bil cash, who let this slide? While its true that you can make money really quickly, Then the prices of items should have gone up. But they didnt. Like I said, The purchasing power of a 2014 zarp $ Is the exact same as a 2017 zarp $. This is ofc highly unrealistic because the amount of money existing in 2014 has insanely increased in 2017, Items should have costed more as more money was being made, But considering this is Semi Serious RP after all you cant expect it to be completely realistic. Like I said, The value of a 2014 zarp $ Is the exact same as a 2017 zarp $. While I agree that its stupid that people can make this amount of money this quickly, The economy is techincally not broken. For an economy to exist and function it must face the economic problem which is that there are limited resources but infinite needs and wants, for example on SSRP obviously everyone wants billions but not everyone can get it without really trying hard or buying boosters since there is not that much money in circulation. Of course this is a flawed economy since there is technically infinite money that can be spawned but it works in the way people spend real money on boosters so they can get in-game money and trade that for items. However the pointshop previously had an economy as some models were worth way more as it was harder to get them and points would be traded between the SSRP cash aswell. But now no one will give SSRP Cash for points since they can get as much as they want for doing fuck all meaning the economy is broken. It no longer faces the economic problem on the whole as there are infinite resources which can meet all the wants and needs of the players. The only form of economy remaining is the rare items which weren't available from the wheel which will likely sell for like millions of points when previously they would sell for like 30k points. Thus the economy is indeed broken. |

Yeah but those same items would have sold for 30-50k previously as they were roughly the same rarity as the other rare items however since then 2 things have happened, 1. Everyone is rich as fuck and 2. The other rare items were made extremely available since everyone who is rich as fuck (which at this point can literally be anyone) also has all those rare items. As a result the rare items which were not made available to everyone recently will skyrocket in price to match everyone's extreme amount of points. Mobile Task Force Gunner wrote:

No. in other words I said that if this was the real world prices of goods or in this case Items, And money would be worthless. But this is not real life obviously.economy is not broken. 1$ in Zarp 2014 is the same worth as 1$ in Zarp 2017. Its just that its way easier to earn money quickly now. Prices of goods should have gone up but they didnt because one again this is a video game. Sooooooo what you're saying is that it's broken? For perspective: Before this, the richest person was Simon with about 1.4 mil points.
