I've noticed several cases where the staff have muted for implied racial slurs or quotes. I was muted earlier for mentioning that I was reported and the person who had reported me had called me a racial slur. I've yet to be unmuted, even after the staff responded to the report and banned the guy for repeated racism.
How long do mutes even last? I've been sat here about 5 rounds now unable to play because I can't communicate.

Ask in admin chat for someone to unmute you, they probably forgot.

You can do this by doing
@ [message]

Also, you shouldn't have been muted for that. You can appeal the punishment by filling in the template and making a new post:

Thanks for the heads up - messaged in admin chat and got unmuted. I'll still fill out the template since I assume warnings stick.

Staff Members Name - LonelyDodo
Punishment Reason - Racism
Server - Trouble in Terrorist Town
Story/Situation - Killed a person as a T, they reported me saying something racist in the report. I mentioned it and was muted for racism. Person was banned once report was read.
Extra Information - This isn't the only time I've noticed mutes for racism being rather sudden - it would probably be best to give a verbal warning, so the user can explain themself if they didn't intend to be in the wrong.

Thank you for taking the time to fill that appeal and post the screenshots.
After taking a look at them, and speaking for several minutes with LonelyDodo, who is not THAT lonely by the way, I've come to this conclusion :

As you surely have noticed by reading the rules, racism, just like any other form of discrimination, is strictly prohibited on each of our servers. TTT too of course. Thus, even if you wanted to "explain" yourself, posting that word in the public chat really was not clever. If it has been the admin chat, I'm sure that LonelyDodo could have understand. But in this case, I agree with his decision.
It may seem harsh to you, but be aware that we have ZERO tolerance for discrimination on Zarp. You "only" got muted. You did not get any warn, or worse.

So in brief, your report/appeal has been :
:denied:

I really hope that you will now be more careful with that kind of statement while playing on our servers.
Your punishment will be considered inactive in 2 weeks.

That's fair enough - but I think it should be made clearer that admin chat even exists. I wasn't aware of it until it had been brought up here, and I've been playing for a few weeks now.

If there isn't then I'll try to see if I can get a Community Manager to change it so there is. If there is then pay more attention @Rye because there really isn't much more that we can do lol.
