TOPIC: Is this RDM?

I spawn in Nether, but I'm busy reading in detail the report of the previous round. I then return to the game. There's another player in Nether that appears to be AFK. I then collect the two diamond blocks in there and gather them by the portal, giving on last look to the AFK player, afraid they could be active and ready to shoot me. they still appear to be afk. I send the two diamond blocks to the other side of the portal and cross it myself. I grab one of the blocks to take it to the furnace and see the TNT miencart moving. I turn back to the portal again and another player - NOT the one who was AFK - comes through the portal. They had not been there a few seconds ago. I kill them. Is this RDM?

Yes as there are other ways to get to the nether without being a T (traitor room)

Anyways I'd say it's RDM as you weren't looking to see if anyone went into the Nether. If you stood aside from the portal the whole time, checking to see if anyone went through it and THEN someone comes out that wasn't there before then you'd be okay to kill them. From your story I can't see that, so I'd say this should be counted as RDM.

well this is rdm as you don't seem to have checked the nether completely and in this case some1 could have easily entered the nether behind your back

Depends on a lot. Had you searched every single spot in the nether to check if someone was hiding? Did you check if the person had just spawned in there? Did you check if the player had announced that they had a teleporter? And there is always the chance that he entered at the exact same time that you left. As it sounds like you were busy with other stuff at the time i can only assume that you had not checked if someone was hiding so i would say this is RDM.

Your story can be classed as RDM since someone might have entered the nether while you were transporting the Diamond block to the furnace. If you checked the portal at all times, then it wouldn't really be RDM. Except, if someone else claimed that they had a teleporter. Although, I personally never do this, because there might have been someone in the nether I missed and then if i kill him when he comes out and he is innocent, I am the one at fault. Also, neither can I bother checking if anyone got a Teleporter nor do i want to stay close to the Nether portal the whole round. It's a risky play on the borders of RDM/Not RDM really. I suggest you don't do it.
