He said he would have checked if they had just spawned. As for being brought by staff why would a staff member bring someone to the nether? You should not be moving people across long distances as it could give them an unfair advantage, and even if you do bring someone to the nether they can still check if they the player was moved there.

If there is no one in the nether and then someone who did not enter the portal comes out as long as they didn't call out they had a teleporter or are a fresh spawn then yes you can kos (as they could have only entered by the t room or an unannounced traitor item). However i would advise you to not do this as you could have left the nether at the same time someone else entered and missed each other, unlikely but it could happen and then you would have killed an innocent for no reason.

Teleporter is also a Detective item and I do not see anyone calling out when they receive DNA scanner etc so I wouldn't count it in items you should call out

oh and btw for 2nd example there could be a radio near the room which would be used so no it doesn't apply

Good point. 2nd one is suspicion

If staff teleport users from the overworld into the nether then the staff member is at fault, not the user.

Yes but if a player is stuck somewhere like in the nether portal, I've seen situations where staff have used the bring command to move the players a very far distance and i don't really see this as an exception for that

There can be other commands used like teleport so you can teleport a player to where you are aiming, also you can goto the players if needed or noclip get to somewhere close and bring or if you really need to send someone to someone else. So bringing is not needed completely and chat logs will show up saying someone has being brought or whatever.

Staff shouldn't teleport users large distances and if they do their job correctly they can't.

If a user says in chat "I'm stuck in the portal" the staff member should teleport to the user or noclip to the portal to see it with their own two eyes. A user claiming to supposedly be stuck in the portal could be lying after all.

The only way a staff member could teleport a user from the nether into the overworld or vice versa would be if they used the !bring command without checking to see whether or not the user is even stuck in the first place, which basically means the staff member is not doing their job correctly.

I agree, but there are certain situations where this could be overruled, such as when a staff member has already no clipped to help players who are stuck and just flies back down to the nether (for fair play reasons of course), the player might not have accounted for this and may as well could be seen as RDM

Why the actual fuck would a staff member see that people are stuck and instead of solving that as quickly and effectively as possible fly down to a location they have no reason to be in?

Sigh, I'm trying to say they no clipped up to solve the problem, then just went back to their original location and were killed because of it

Then that means that the user originally saw them inside the Nether and would almost definitely not kill them because they never saw them come through the Nether portal.

What you're saying here is a very exceptional case for a very exceptional technique that will almost definitely never occur, considering the fact that this strategy resolves around carefully tracking who's exiting the Nether Portal. The fact that they would see the staff member using the !noclip command and seen them teleport people outside of the portal it would be very weird to then assume that the staff member would be on this user's target list for these next few minutes or so.

Allowing this would cause too many borderline RDM cases where people would just KOS on skins. (aka Wookie entered T room so they kill next Wookie who runs out and claims that they were doing this etc.

That argument legitimately makes no sense. You're comparing a situation where someone has carefully reviewed all possible information available to them to determine whether or not someone is a T to a situation where a user goes "Eh, close enough I guess" to then shoot another user in the face.

Not just that, the skin-situation is actually stated in the rules to be an invalid KOS, making your point even more redundant.

Even if it makes our job slightly harder as people can lie this should still be an acceptable kos reason as if done correctly the user can be 100% sure they are killing a traitor (or innocent who didn't announce a teleporter). We can't punish anyone for killing a traitor with completely valid proof.

What if the user hides in nether for a prolonged amount of time? They might get killed when they get out pretty sure thats why it has been accounted as RDM previously as the user could just be in a spot that they cant be seen
