TOPIC: This should be a rule

An incident happened yesterday with Infamous and Everso about trap stealing.
I think the rule should be you have to claim the button so that people know its yours.

You serious? You trap stole my button. I was there first and after a few seconds, you came there and claimed it. Also the guy who comes to the trap first is controlling it.

Can you please read the rules..

I don't think you should really have a rule like that, once your at that trap it's yours you don't need to claim it if you don't want to.

As Harridas already said, the first person at the trap has it. Its common sense that you shouldnt run over and 'claim' a trap another person is controlling.

I'm amazed that you're still on about this, seriously. Its simple, first one to to be at the button, gets the right to click it and not have it be stolen. Claiming the button is an option, we're not forcing anyone to claim the button.

Here are a couple reasons:
-If someone's bhopping very quickly, the death shouldn't be forced to make sure that the button is claimed first, they sometimes need to act quickly or overall, sometimes the time it takes to make sure the button is claimed (even if its 2 seconds) can affect the ability of the death to successfully kill the runner.

-People shouldn't be forced to claim a button because of a player that decides to break a rule that just requires simple common sense.

-Sometimes there are multiple buttons in a single trap, forcing a person to claim one of the buttons wont prevent others from using the other buttons anyways as far as i'm aware, which pretty much makes this rule quite useless because you can't claim multiple buttons.
