yes because most of the rare items are in low quantity and hoarded. not all players have a chance to acquire them.

Not if it's the same as the easter. That was just bad at all levels. It should be once a day, pop up randomly at a certain hour, not a fixed hour where the same people always get them. Imagine a fairly recent guy open his F4 menu and sees it first... the joy. And I also believe whoever places the prices has to be replaced. There was always 1 item that was overpriced.
