Q: How do I become a job?
A: You can access the job menu by pressing F4 > Jobs. Some jobs will require paid VIP.

Q: How do I call for a member of staff?
A: Press the F1 button located at the top of your keyboard.

Q: What is RDM?
A: RDM stands for Random Death Match, and is when someone is killed without a valid RP reason.

Q: What is NLR?
A: NLR stands for New Life Rule. It means that upon dying, you must forget your past life. You must not enter a district for 3 minutes after your death, but you may enter after the 3 minutes end. You also can not interact with anything from your past life, so if you were killed in your car, you can not go to get it even if it is in a different district from where you died in; and it's the same thing for printers and players.

Q: What is CDM?
A: CDM stands for Car Death Match and is when a player is killed by a vehicle.

Q: How do I vote yes or no for a police job vote or demotion vote.
A: Press F1 to vote yes and press F2 to vote no, you can press neither and nothing will happen.

Q: Who are the owners of ZARP Gaming?
A: Chuteuk (RP Name: Sam Townsend) and EMP (RP Name: Brother Gustro).

Q: How do I purchase VIP, how much does it cost and what do I get when buying it?
A: You can visit zarpgaming.com/index.php/zarp-vip to buy VIP, or access the page ingame from pressing F4 > Donate. It costs $20 USD and with it you will receive no job limits, the ability to become the VIP jobs (Priest, S.W.A.T etc.) and many more. More information about VIP can be found on the VIP page.

Q: How long does ZARP VIP last for?
A: It is permanent, but may be taken away in extreme consequences.

Q: What are Booster Packs?
A: Singular Booster Packs cost $5 and give you +5 inventory space, $1,000,000 RP Cash, 10,000 Gems, 3 Blueprint cases, 1 Special weapons case and +5 bank weight.

Q: Can I purchase ZARP VIP or Booster Packs with RP Cash/items?
A:Yes, just contact a player that are selling them then request for a middleman (any Admin+). Scamming for VIP/Booster Packs is not allowed and may result to a ban.

Q: I have a problem with a staff member, who can I speak to?
A: You can speak to any staff member about your issue, but it is best to contact a Super Admin, Head Admin, Communnity Manager or Server Owner as only they can take any action on the staff member. You may need evidence to back up your claims. You can also make a report on the forums.

Q: How do I apply for staff?
A: Begin with creating an account at www.zarpgaming.com, then paste the template (see below) into a new topic by pressing the New Topic button on the left hand side of your page, then answer the questions. If you wish to become admin, you must follow the hierarchy, Moderator > Administrator > Super Administrator > Head Administrator.

Q: When and where are the staff meetings hosted?
A: They take place every Saturday night at 7PM GMT. They are hosted on the ZARP Gaming TeamSpeak 3 server, only staff may attend but if you wish to join the TeamSpeak the IP is ts.zarpgaming.com

Q: How many props can I spawn as a user?
A: You can spawn a total of 40 props as user, but by purchasing ZARP VIP, you will be able to place 70 props.

Q: How do I level up my growing skill?
A: Plant carrots, then upon levelling up, grow melons, then weed, then shrooms as you keep levelling up.

Q: How long do carrots take to grow?
A: 8 minutes.

Q: How do I level up my stamina skill?
A: You can level up by walking or running around, then you will slowly begin to receive XP.

Q: How do I level up my crafting and mining skills?
A: You gain experience by crafting and mining items. At a low level, you can only mine stone and craft pickaxes, but as you mine and craft more and more, you will be able to level up and mine/craft more things.

Q: Why is no one voting for me as a police job?
A: They may just be voting no for reason, or you may be a rule breaker. Just be patient and you will eventually get it.

Q: Where can I craft, and how?
A: You can craft at the Crafting Table (location shown below). Purchase a Hammer from the Miner NPC which is opposite the Miner NPC, then equip it and hit the crafting table with it in your hand to open up the crafting menu. You can also view the crafting menu via F4 > Crafting.


Q: How do I get a donation box?
A: You need to be a Priest which is a VIP job. Once purchasing VIP, press F4 > Jobs > Priest then press F4 > Shop to buy the donation box for $30.

Q: How do I leave the ZARP Event?
A: Press the F2 key located at the top of your keyboard.

Q: How do I rob the ZARP vault inside the bank?
A: You must first be a job that can raid, then go inside the vault and press F4 > Check Bank Vault Status. Then press 'Defend the vault' and defend it from on-coming gangsters, thieves, police etc. for 15 minutes. If you successfully finish the raid without dying, you will receive the money stated above the stack of money in the centre of the vault and the blueprint/weapon cases will spawn on the floor at the back of the vault.

Q: Do I need to advert raid on this server?
A: No, but you can advert if you wish to.

Q: What are Gems used for?
A: They can be used for crafting items such as Nitro Glycerine and may also be used on Slot Machines/Wheel during special events (eg. Christmas, Halloween, Summer).

Q: How do I buy a shop checkout?
A: Press F4 > Jobs, then become a Shop Owner, Gun Dealer or Heavy Weapons Dealer. Once becoming one of those jobs, press F4 > Shop and you will be able to purchase a shop checkout.

Q: How do I create/join a gang?
A: To create a gang, press F4 > Gangs then press 'Create a gang'. You can choose your gang name, gang UI background colour and the joining fee. It will cost you $50,000 to create a gang. To join a gang, the owner or an officer of the gang must press 'Invite user to gang' within the gang menu, then press your name. You will receive a blue notification in the top right telling you the joining fee, gang name and the person who invited you. Press F1 to join or F2 to deny the invitation and close the notification.

Q: Can I purchase a staff rank?
A: No, you must apply for staff at www.zarpgaming.com.

Q: Where is the Paycheck Lady and the General Store?
A: They are located at the fountain.

Q: Where is the Vehicle NPC and how can I customize my vehicle?
A: You can purchase a vehicle at the Vehicle NPC (blue bubble), and upon spawning your vehicle, you can drive it up to the Pimp My Ride NPC to customize your vehicle's features. Each vehicle has different customisations, Hummers allow you to have a metal frame bumper, whereas the Ford Focus allows you to change the bonnet.


Q: How do I mug someone?
A: You must first be a job that can mug (such as a thief), then when in a secluded area such as an alleyway or a place where it's just you and the person you are mugging, type '/me mug drop 4k or die'. You can mug someone for less than 4k if you wish, but the maximum is 4k. Your /me command doesn't need to be exactly the same as the example, but it still needs to say that you are mugging them and the amount you are mugging them for.

Q: Why was I randomly weapon checked?
A: Police jobs can weapon check who they want, whenever they want as long as they use /me. If you are a police job, you can type '/me weapon check, do not move or you will be arrested or killed' or something similar so you can weapon check them. Unlike the mugging rules, you can be weapon checked anywhere.

Q: How do I use the roll command?
A: Type '/roll [NUMBER]' to roll. A number between 0 and the number you typed after the command will be chosen. For example, if I type '/roll 32' in chat, it will choose a random number between 1 and 32 and display it in chat, and will look similar to this:

Q: How do I drift in a car?
A: Hold space whilst your car is moving to turn on the brakes. Use your left and right keys (A and D by default) to move left or right. Combine them both to drift, but some vehicles drift better than others.

Q: Is scamming allowed on this server?
A: No, if you are scammed then contact a staff member.

Q: Can I trade my SSRP items/cash for other games'/Steam's items?
A: No, you can not trade, sell or buy items from other games with SSRP items/cash or vice versa. Pointshop items/points on the other hand can be traded with SSRP items/cash or vice versa as long as the pointshop server is a ZARP Gaming server.

Q: Is there a view/image of each SSRP map?
A: Yes, and they can be seen below in order (Server 1, Server 2, Server 3).

Q: Which jobs are allowed which weapons?
A: Every job apart from Mutant can have any weapon they want, but Mutants can only have melee weapons. All guns are still illegal though.

Q: How do I become a Mayor?
A: Press the F4 button then press the jobs tab. After that, scroll down to 'The Good' jobs and select Mayor, it will ask you if you wish to join. It costs $2000, and you will be entered into the Mayor election, at least 2 players need to be in the election, including you, and once there are 2 players in the election a 60 second countdown will begin until the election starts. If you receive the most votes, you will become Mayor.

Q: Can Mutants RDM?
A: No, they can only RDM hobos or people inside the Police Department/Mines district or the Warehouse District. They can only attack someone in any other districts if they are a hobo, or the non-mutant attacks first. Mutants can not spawn kill, kill players in the mines or kill other mutants.

Q: What is the best weapon?
A: It depends on your preferences, but one of the best is the PSG-1 which is a sniper rifle which deals huge amounts of damage. The L85 assault rifle is also very powerful as it can deal a lot of damage in a short amount of time, along with the SPAS12.
