TOPIC: [Suggestion] A New Beginning

New Game play Style?

So as of some of the people that might have played and experienced the sister company of zarp aka "Friendly Players" I am an old player of Friendly players and zarp, (Zarp I've been in and out but never stuck around till recently) . I've talked with a decent amount of people from ZARP and people who used to play Friendly players, People who have played both friendly players and zarp have had unique responses when it has come to if they liked or preferred Zarp over friendly players, many said that liked and or preferred the friendly players gameplay then the zarp gameplay considering how the economy worked (How you earned money etc) .

I was thinking what if we merged Friendly players into Zarp? or if you don't like the idea of that, at least use the gamemode that is on friendly players as a fourth server or replace one of the currents with the friendly players gamemode, I can bet that a lot of people would enjoy playing the friendly players gamemode gameplay over Zarp's or perhaps they'll enjoy both? TBH I've no lifed both zarp and friendly players and I enjoyed no lifing on friendly players gamemode then I have here on Zarp, Friendly players was the perfect mix of goals and or things to work towards but also didn't make shit ruin the gameplay fun of the gamemode.

Friendly players main source of income was "Drug Plants" and they had a lot of different shit revolved around it that would expand it into something more then just a money maker, By a naturally state you could get up to level 5 drug plant but then you had to learn the mystery of how to get the drug plant up to level 8+ considering you needed certain jobs or items to achieve that stand point. Friendly players second source of income was printers, which were basically DarkRP's default money printer until you've gotten your hands on a printer booster which you could use to upgrade your printer which would turn it into a printer that prints a random number between 1k-20k in total which isn't bad to say the least.

One of the reason as to why friendly players was also such a great gameplay to enjoy playing on was simply the fact that it wasn't so easy to make money fast and you couldn't just get rich and top shit almost instantly, since considering the fact that if you allow people to gain top tier shit right off the bat then you're killing the end game for them and they will soon get bored and will be stuck not being able to find anything that will make them constantly coming back to play and have fun. Some people may bitch like little children because they can't get top shit very fast, but not everyone enjoys getting end tier shit at right at the beginning, It's like having sex with your girlfriend or one night stand, No chick wants some 30 second cum fucker, they want a long and fun session where they'll enjoy their time and not some 30 second rush of fun.

In my opinion and many others, Friendly players kinda had the perfect system that provided both fun and enjoyment for the player base whether it be early game or end game for them, If you finally achieved and got to the end game you didn't just have SUPER OP shit that just ruined all the fun of other activities aka Raiding etc, you had stuff that greatly helped but didn't ruin the whole enjoyment factor of doing it in the first place. The most OP things to use if you were raiding was an Air strike and C4, But obviously enough their were ways to lower the chances and or prevent them from affecting you too much if you were base building.

Due to Printers/Drug plants being a major source of money and since drug plants got you special upgrades once you did the certain tasks it pushed for people to be BASING a lot more which is something we're currently lacking in zarp tbh, People can say "oh I see bases" but their literally is hardly any bases and if their is, 99% of them are OP as fuck and impossible to raid unless you have end tier shit, the ones that aren't just get destroyed by rockets etc which completely delete and fuck the base you were just raiding. In friendly players that shit didn't happen, perhaps the c4 did some damages to your bases and all that jazz but at least it didn't just decimate your bases like the rockets and make it impossible for you to kill the raiders.

In the end in my opinion I strongly feel that we should at least at the very least bring up a 4th server with the friendly players gamemode and see how it turns out and see if it's popular or not, if it is then perhaps lets encourage it more rather then doubting it and saying it shouldn't be part of zarp, lets give it a try before we easily just shut down the idea, I can guarantee that we would get a bigger player base overall and player base morality/happiness would increase with the chance of trying out another type of gameplay to spend their time in the community with.

Fresh Start

As some of you know already that currently the player base is a mix of rich and non rich people, basically a decent amount of people have end tier items which gives them an advantage for the sole fact that they can just dominate anyone and or their bases considering the fact that they can just put on the force field armor and grab a rocket launcher and completely decimate bases, EVEN one that are made by people who have maxed out all gang upgrades which some of the gang upgrades provide more resistance for the props to prevent people from using those OP weapons to raid so easily.

Mining is one of the main ways to gain huge amount of money at the current time but that is just a bit fucked up, considering the fact that you can only make money off gem's if people buy it and people need to have money to buy the gem's in the first place so basically you can't make much money off gem's and even if you mine and go to the NPC and sell the rock's you hardly make any money there. If ANYONE says that oh you can sell gem's easily, you can only sell them if people will buy them and I have over 9 MILLION GEM'S and I've yet been able to make a dime off any of them and I've been living off of daily objectives tbh.

Printers aren't worth while to farm even if you spend the load of money to upgrade them to the max to make them worth while, they're only half bad and decent if you fully upgrade a sapphire for normal players but if you're a VIP then you're not off to a bad start considering you can spawn numerous decently op printers when you max them out so you can start rolling in money, you just need to wait a bit and the money will start coming in large sums, basically VIP printers all you need to do is max upgrade them then leave them to collect money since they make mass money. If you're a normal person, you can only have one REALLY good printer which isn't REALLY that good but it isn't half bad, the printer is the sapphire printer and once you've maxed it, it's decent to keep around.

Once you've achieved end game in Zarp their is truly no fun and pleasure in playing around considering raids can be done in a few

So you basicly mean, re-branding the FP Darkrp server to a zarp server? Actually thats not that bad of an idea! I'd love to play the friendly players gamemode, but there is hardly anyone ever online.

I remember the whole ZARP FP merge back in the day where FP used ZARP RP while the reboot was happening it didn't last long. Would FP data be reset(again) or will it be transferred?

The server planned for FP would be a great addition to the ZARP community. Plus under the "ZARP" brand, many more players will join and people will indeed get excited about it. I know oldschool FP members may disagree with this change, but it's the best for both brands, the FP server that deserves far more players than it's currently the case, and It probably won't get a lot of players even after the reboot, and the ZARP server and it's people that for months have been begging for a different DarkRP version.

I don't believe this will work. The FP reboot is made for the people of FP and should remain in FP. Someone made this suggestion in the past with a poll the majority wanted it to stay on FP.

This seems like a good idea, but I wouldn't see it being added due to ZARP's uniqueness in weapons, suits, and other things.
