apparently someone's not thought this through past a week, why would you strip a dying server of its content? how is that productive how does it attract new players? actually fixing the economy would be a lot more beneficial so newer players have a chance to play, removing content is suuuper lazy to do

I couldn't have said it better but yeah this is a problem and i experienced that aswell, I have no suit (1st Suit already sold it...) but PSGs and i cant defend a Base when i want to start making money, aswell with the printers [normal + VIP + PBU] you get like idk 2 or 2,5mil in a hour and if you print at the right time people come and destroy your shit and then u make more loss than profit, what i am saying at this point is that its affecting new players aswell and that you cannot do enough money to get some serious Equipment to fight back or actually defend a base for once, I dont know how other People look at the Situation but it is something serious the only way of making Money is by Raping S1 with Nukes over Nukes or gamble it all the way til you have 0$ and you start back from the bottom, the only things I did in S1 are

Supporting other People Nukes
Doing my Job as a Admin and handle F1's
Raiding PD

Yeah thats basically what i did the last weeks before i resigned, with all being said I hope that we see some changes that have an positive effect for the future of SSRP.

Firstly much people bought booster packs for suits!
In my opnion if u have suit on inventory create coins like for jug suit change suits with coins and add coin npc like jug coin hyper coin evo coin for 300m and problems fixed or directly nerf suits

If you're going to talk about removing suits you also need to think about the explosive and special weapons that are in the game because they all go together. Without suits the weapons would be overpowered because theres no suits to give extra health and defensive benefits. But without special weapons suits would be way too overpowered.

My point is that if there is discussion about removing the suits then a lot of things will have to change and zarp will have to work differently. If you removed it all or only kept weapons like the rpg, milkor, and m202 then it would be just like zarp used to be years ago. But we moved away from that for a reason.

So things would have to be changed and implemented to create a new experience but one that will keep players around.

It's a lot more complicated than just removing one part of the server.

If you remove suits it will change raiding and basing dramatically making the spamming of explosives such as tguns and m202s even more powerful as you cant protect yourself by putting on your suit, Morphine isn't a reliable source of hp which everyone can use.

Not only that but imagine the moaning about suits now, if you was to remove them, everyone would start to moan even more that they was removed which doesn't solve any problems.

You cant please everyone in this senario

Ok I think suits should be nerfed semi-heavily and ,make them more economicaly affordable to begginers.

To be fair weps worked fine without suits in 2014-2015. Normal weapons was used the majority of times as you'd often find yourself in tight spaces so that explosives would carry the risk of damaging you and your team, rather than your opponents. There's alot more to say about this argument, but experience speak for itself.

It was still being used every now which is good by the way (back then), creating an element or a wider experience in general, in most eyes. Morphine and such would obviously still be in play with the removal of suits.

Either way for your perspective from someone who played back then I can assure you it was not as problematic as you may think without suits. Surely your theory sounds good on paper. Sure, there are more explosives now compared to then also the psg isn't as strong. However as both defenders and attackers will for sure have their hands on some kind of explosives I believe the nature of explosions would ensure enough vollatility, making sure not one side being favored due to their expensive weaponry as fire is being fighted with fire, which creative fair gameplay, compared to now.

I think i may have sounded like i didn't like how it was without suits or a long time ago but I honestly prefer the old zarp way more than this one. I loved how it used to be. Without any explosives so you had to pick everything and bases were all about shooting windows and angles. and then when rpg, milkor, m202 were added that was a lot of fun as well. So don't get me wrong I much prefer the way zarp used to be. I only said we moved away from it for a reason because they had to keep adding things to keep players around. Not that I personally agree with the way things changed. Cause if I could go back to that I would.
