The lack of actual content ( New items are cool but they remain gimmicks that more often than not are reserved to the already rich players ). If the updates focused more on getting new ways for new players to make money and more roleplay interactions the server would perhaps be more popular. Zarp was interesting because of it's unique competitive aspect with all the different raiding items/suits/printers that made basing and raiding very interesting and truly epic and rewarding. But it was bound to happen that people would grow bored of it eventualy especialy since anyone can just connect during a night on S2 or S3 put down some printers and make 100-200M overnight so why bother do a hard base during the day when before elevator base it was painfuly obvious that raiders had a huge advantage over basers ( The necessity to base at least 3-4 hours before making actualy profit and risking all of this to just a raidier with a M202 rushing with amphetamine every 10-15 mins )

Most active and motivated players just stopped playing and that gives what we have right now. A S1 that can still muster up to 60-70 players on busy evening during week-ends but where 85% of the map remains unused, barely even 2-3 bases and half the server either afk or just waiting for something to happen in spawn when nothing is going to happen because there's nothing to do besides nuking and that requires a lot of players and good equipment.

Then we have the problem of communication beetwen the community and the higher ups that just make us feel ignored at best. Like the gauss rifle fix that came out of nowhere when nobody asked for it, the handcannon still not being nerfed even tough everyone complains of how ridiculously op it is, the holster fix that fucked up the dynamics of the game ( the 2.0 lost half of it's usefulness because of that, and I also found out sometime even when you reload the clip glitches from 10 to 0 so you need to fire an actual bullet otherwise you'll just endlessly reload or have to holster and take it back out again and hope it doesn't glitch again ).

And to top it off we have updates and booster packs that completly and utterly destroyed the economy. I mean just look at kalll the richest player of the server. He barely ever based and he has 42B. From which at least 6-7B were mades from his 100 or 200 fire boxes he sold during the halloween update from the booster pack offer. Jack Bushie is another example with his 50 jugg and 30 hypers made from a " glitch " during the black friday update. Which leads to new players who want to make money fast to just wait for one of those booster packs offer and use irl cash to make ez pz money rather than try and base and get in a gang because we all know how easily kids are lured by that kind of shit.

No new Content , current weapons being shit , no accessories to spend your money on , shit car values and many other issues that have been adressed by the community managers on their first campain about a year ago that still have not been added / implemented

zarp is now filled with SJWs and snowflakes that hide from reality
