Can a LT member take another look at this appeal? 6 years 1 month ago #859528

I don't mean to be rude towards Skeleton or OxyFoxy, but this appeal shouldn't have been denied. It's obvious that if someone does something that you do not agree with that your response will not always be as kind, and this wasn't harassment in any way shape or form. I don't see how a punishment was needed or warranted in this situation.

I'd appreciate if an SSRP Lead Team member could take a look at this and maybe decide whether or not a different outcome is more appropriate, as this punishment honestly makes no sense.

I mean If he is going to be warned for saying fuck you I and many other staff would have been banned for the shit we say. In my opinion as much as I like Oxy if they get offended from saying Fuck you it may seem like he could want to warn the user rather than warning because of a rule break.

There is no legetimate merit in a staff member punishing users for very minor offenses such as this one except for the staff member to feel good about themselves that they can fling some power stick around. He was clearly pissed off for some reason. If someone is angry before the sit which they must have been for them to act out this way then it should be taken into account. Oxy clearly did to some extent because he asked them to calm but a simple and meaningless 'fuck you' is understandable from their point of view. I'm sure most other people would have done the same.

Also, to put emphasis on DB's comment on the appeal, a situation exactly like this got accepted because the staff who were talked to and handled it weren't fucking retarded and it got accepted.
