So i have not played in a while and i came on today and to my surprise its fucked. The new holster thing is utter autistic and is off the spectrum, you have ruined normal PVP. Many of us don't equip or guns until in combat and thats how we play and you have fucked that. The solution is very simple you can always keep a gun on your hotbar. I can’t remember if there is a command in gmod to swap to a weapon by name but I can always add a command to let you quickly select a weapon from your hot bar. How bout you just increase the time it takes once you've equipped the weapon to be able to shoot, say by like half the reload speed. This would, as i see it, be a middle ground between how it was and the new system currently implemented whilst also inhibiting the effectiveness of holster exploiting.
