Hey everyone!

So I'd like feedback on where to improve as an SSRP admin. I figured that the best way to get such feedback would be by applying for SA, but it seems sort of bullshitty to apply for such a rank so quickly.

So yeah, any and all feedback would be appreciated. Positive, negative, you name it - I'd just like to see where I can improve.

When we are looking for a lead team member we look for the best things in them here they are.

Leadership skills:
Leadership skills is most important we look for, with your current ranks in the community it shows that you know what it is about so you are great on that.

Activity:
Activity is one of the key points, we look for staff that are very active on the servers including the teamspeak server. We also look for staffs activity within the meeting on wether they are talking and stating points or just sitting there doing nothing.

Trust:
Trust is also another point in getting lead team, we look for staff in which we can put trust in giving them a promotion into the lead team.

Interacting with staff:
Interacting with staff is also another good thing we look for. It shows that you are able to speak to other staff at times when needed and also shows how friendly and nice you can be.

I personnaly only saw you as admin/mod on duty I think you need to be more in the cm as a normal user who plays the game and understanding all the mechanics

Role-play as a staff more. Why? Because unless you do, you won't fully understand some situations/rules. This will get you more experience and it will show you are dedicated to staffing this game mode.

As LT on another server I already know this, but it's nice to have them all in a row. Before ever applying for a higher rank I'll be sure to take a look at this list.

It's a fair argument to make, brought up again later by Fred. I have several issues with it, one of which is the fact that a lot of users keep complaining that it takes ages for their F1 to be done. If I were to RP/base, I'd have less time left over to help users, which is the one thing I actually wish to do :/

Mr Pear said the same, and I have already partly explained to him why I'd rather not do that. It is also a fact that I dislike basing on the server, as I always die within seconds of setting up the base. I do find RP a little enjoyable, so I'll give that a try again.

If I have the time, I might even join a gang again for the first time in 6 fucking months. We'll see.

I've only ever heard good things about you so that's always a plus but for improvement? If I had to choose something It would just be me being picky so here we go. Your work, staffing and other ethics all seem to be in order so maybe you could try getting your opinion out there more fight to change a rule, fight to have someone punished even if others disagree. What I'm saying is just throw yourself in to the mix of it because you can be a great member of staff but not have to deal with '' stressful situations '' and that doesn't make a good CM. They need someone who will fight the people for whats right regardless of how it makes them look which I think you have it in you to do. I could of just missed your posts if you have done this before but from what I've seen myself I've never seen you do anything like this as of yet.

In my opinion you are one of the best if not the best staff member but I feel that SSRP is an abstract gamemode which can only be administrated properly if the staff member also Roleplay's and engages with the server, this could be basing, raiding, PD raiding, stopping PD/Bank Raids, doing the duties of a police, RDMing or anything which actually involves you killing others or dieing and once you fully engage in those activities you will understand why I recommended it to you but for an idea rules and punishments are not as black and white on SSRP as on other servers so a full understanding of them is necessary and in my opinion this can only be achieved when you are a regular player and RPer.

Like others said, just interact with users more and roleplay more often seeming that's an efficient way. It's great to see you do your staffing duties nearly all the time but you should also allow people to get to know you better too if you want to step up to the SA rank.

This is actually the best feedback I've seen - thank you. I have actually fought for what I personally believe is right in the past (I got Gody unbanned from the forums by talking to Para, for example, or I have sent out messages before to get what I believe is the right thing to do through (once again by messaging Para about something).

You might remember a post in the past where I defended Gody getting banned on the forums. I broke TOU by doing it as you're not allowed to mention TOU banned members (which is what you called me out for lol) but I did try to make clear what I personally believe was not justified.

I will try to do these things more from now on. I have done it before, mostly in the background, but being open about these kinds of things would help. Thank you!

I have decided I will do it more from now on. The one thing I enjoyed was walking around as a S.W.A.T. and will do this once again to properly familiarize myself with the server and its users. Thank you both!
